Carl Polson spent his childhood working and living on his family's wheat farm in Waterville. Since then he has grown to become a leader in technology and business, with more than 20 years of experience in a variety of industries/sectors including agriculture, broadcast, education, entertainment, healthcare, marketing, non-profits, start-ups, real estate, and technology.

Currently, Carl is a Demo Engineer for the global technology company, Poly, which specializes in video conferencing and collaboration. At Poly he develops and customizes video conferencing and unified communication solutions for Poly customers. He manages global video communications throughout Poly Experience Center and Demo Centers. He helps customers' leverage Poly equipment with Microsoft Teams as well as Zoom, BlueJeans, GoToMeeting, Cisco WebEx, Amazon Chime, Google Hangouts, and other collaboration providers.

Carl is passionate about education and holds a Master of Science in Management and Leadership (MSML) and a  Masters in Business Administration (M.B.A) with an emphasis in Information Technology Management.

Carl has been involved in the ownership of multiple businesses, including a DJ & Event Production company, an Online News website, a Cloud-Based Member Management Application, a live-action sports app, and full-service marketing, advertising, and a website design firm and a real estate holding company. Carl has also been hired for public speaking and master of ceremonies for a variety of events and presentations.

In addition, Carl strongly believes in volunteering and has held multiple volunteer roles, currently, Carl serves on the board of directors for KORE Community Radio, is a member of the Wenatchee Confluence Rotary, and serves on the board of directors for Lake Chelan Yacht Club and was Commodore of the Yacht Club in 2017. He also served multiple volunteer roles in the past for the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life and was Event Chair/Lead from 2014 to 2016, and has been a Classroom Volunteer for Wenatchee School District.

In his free time, Carl enjoys being outdoors doing activities like skiing, boating, camping, biking, hiking, and traveling. Carl is an avid reader and enjoys reading a variety of books. He also enjoys traveling and spending time with his 11-year-old daughter, Kendall.
